Description
The Colt Single Action Army, or “Peacemaker,” is one of the most legendary revolvers of the American West. This example is chambered in .38 WCF (.38-40 Winchester), a cartridge popular in the late 19th and early 20th centuries for its dual-use in both rifles and revolvers. Manufacturered in 1898.
This revolver features a 4.75" barrel, classic Colt black hard rubber grips with the rampant Colt logo, and visible patent markings on the frame. The revolver retains a worn but consistent patina, with mechanical function showing wear appropriate to age. The matching serial numbers confirm authenticity as a true 1st Generation Colt.
As a 1st Generation SAA, this revolver represents not only an iconic design but also a piece of American history, sought after by collectors of antique firearms, Old West memorabilia, and Colt handguns.
